Privacy Policy

When you donate we collect your name, email address, mobile number, donation amount, the cause you selected, and optionally your PAN if you request an 80G receipt. When you write to us we keep your message and contact details so we can reply.

We never see, store or process your card number, UPI PIN, CVV or net-banking credentials. All payments are handled on the secure, PCI-DSS compliant infrastructure of Cashfree Payments. We receive only a payment reference, the amount and the payment status.

To process your donation, issue receipts and 80G certificates, maintain statutory accounting records, and — only if you have not opted out — send occasional updates about the work your gift supports. We do not sell, rent or trade donor data with anyone.

Data is shared only with our payment gateway, our auditors and chartered accountant, and government authorities where the law requires it (Income Tax Act, FCRA where applicable).

Donation records are retained for at least eight financial years as required by Indian tax law. Access is restricted to authorised trustees and staff, and data is transmitted over encrypted HTTPS connections.

You may ask us to correct your details, unsubscribe from updates, or delete personal data that we are not legally obliged to retain. Write to care@elshadaijebathottam.org and we will act within 30 days.
